Kantha is a traditional Indian fabric that is hand embroidered with different fabrics from old sarees, each piece is unique.
Irregularity is part of the beauty and uniqueness of kanthas, perfect for brightening up a sofa or covering a bed. Combined with a more contemporary look, they bring colour and materials to create an eclectic atmosphere.
Careful, as each piece is an antique, time has left traces of wear and tear that make these handcrafted products unique. We haven’t selected any products in bad condition, but we love it when a bold patchwork reinforces part of the kantha. The front and back of the kantha may differ greatly, but each model is certainly a unique piece that you won’t find anywhere else.
Kantha quilts have different patterns on both sides.
